All exams and practice tests use the CEF levels:

A2, B1, B2, C1 & C2.

What are the CEF levels?

At the end of each test your level will be assessed at a CEF level (A2 to C2). You can choose to have the results sent to your email address. Questions get easier or harder according to how well you do. If your English is very good you will answer more difficult questions than someone whose English is not as good.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR) was put together by the Council of Europe as a way of standardizing the levels of language exams in different regions. It is very widely used internationally and all important exams are mapped to the CEFR.

There are six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
