Music in the classroom
The purpose of this project is to help ESL/EFL teachers to incorporate music in their English lessons. This proposal consists of twelve worksheets which contain a teacher’s guide and are generally divided into three sections: pre-listening, while listening and post-listening. Eight out of twelve of these worksheets require technology such as internet access, computers and digital devices in order to be implemented. In contrast, only four of them do not demand any technological device apart from a speaker. Some of the topics that compose this work are: relating past events, describing people, talking about hypothetical situations, making promises, expressing regrets, showing preferences, among others.
